The offenders are supposed to be ritualists as during the assault on Abdu Garba, a residnet of Miga Local Government of Jigawa state, they picked the victim's eyes out. The boy who is a student to one Islamic teacher, Mal Haruna Abdullahi of Sakwa town in Zaki local government, was coming home after classes when the incident occurred.

It was learnt that the malefactors were chasing the teenager and kidnapped him immediately after they got to a secluded place. A helpless boy was taken to an unknown place where the malicious act was committed.

After a while some conscious residents of Zaki local government area called the police and when the police officers came to scene of the crime the victim was rushed to Federal Medical Centre Azare for treatment.

The incident was confirmed by the state Police spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police Haruna Mohammed. He also noted that the сase is under a thorough investigation while the police is hunting for the fleeing suspects.
