A jealous lover in South Africa stabbed his rival, cut out his
heart and feasted on it with fork and knife at a house in Cape Town’s
Gugulethu township.
According to the woman who is at the
centre of the love triangle, the suspect who is a Zimbabwean and her
former lover had paid her visit in the house where she was living with
her new lover named Mbuyiselo Manona.
She said they chatted for while after which he gave her money to buy liquor and she left to get it.
On her return, she found her 62-year-old partner already stabbed.
Neigbours
who witnessed the horrible incident said the commotion between both men
had attracted them to the scene. When they got there, they peered
through the window only to see the shocking sight of a man cutting
Manona's heart out and eating it with fork and knife.
One of the neighbour's said, "the whole situation was crazy. We were shouting at him to stop, but he did not listen."
The
scared neighbours then alerted the Police who stormed the scene and
when they got there they found the Zimbabwean suspect eating the heart
of a human with a knife and fork.
According to report, they were scared to go in and had to call for back-up.
"You
can’t really blame them. How do you go into a room with someone
dripping another person’s blood out of his mouth?, a neighbour said.
However, the suspect was arrested and would be charged to court soon.
Confirming
the incident, the Western Cape deputy police commissioner Sharon Jephta
said the motive for the murder was "definitely a love triangle."
