Kukere Master Iyanya Visits Nyanya Bomb Explosion Survivors

Iyanya was one of the first Nigerian entertainers to visit some of the survivors of the Monday, April 14, 2014, car bombing that took place in Nyanya, Abuja.

The pop singer posted pictures and short videos of his visit to an Abuja hospital on Instagram.

“Good Morning and Happy Easter. Yesterday I spent part of my Saturday visiting and trying in my own little way to put smiles in the faces of Nigerians like You and I who were victims of Circumstance. As you pray today specially say a Prayer for their quick recovery. Thanks #iyanyafoundation,” the entertainer wrote

In one of the videos, he is seen consoling one of the victims, a mother, and singing with her.

“In Abuja to visit The Nyanya Bomb Blast Victims. And all this woman asked me to do is to sing for her. Thank God I made her smile #God Bless Them And be with Us All,” he wrote.

Over 70 people died in the blast, and many sustained injuries.
