That’s the question on the lips of music buffs as stories started
making the rounds last week that the twin singers have finally decided
to go their separate ways.
Though details are still sketchy, sources say the red flag was waved
when the duo’s elder brother, Jude Engees Okoye, went on twitter and
posted that after over 10 years of hard work, it was all over.
That move opened a floodgate to reactions and it was widely reported
that Peter, feeling marginalized, had decided to move out of
Squareville, their official residence, with his family after a fight
with Paul during a rehearsal.
However, Paul had tweeted later: “After the storm comes the calm.
Hoping for better days ahead as one family. God’s intervention,” thus
raising hopes that the group might still be intact.
However, a new front has been opened in the ongoing crisis as sources
insist that the real root of the break up is irreconcilable difference
between Lola Omotayo, Peter’s wife and Jude Okoye who was conspicuously
absent at Peter’s wedding last year. It has also been rumored that the
crisis has stalled the production of their sixth studio album which was
billed for release in January.
